For the first post, I'll show a floral job I did last month for my office Christmas party. I did the flowers for last year's party as well.
2012 holiday flowers ready for transport
2012 dinner table arrangements
The instructions this year were:
- tall vases so people at the round dinner tables could interact freely
- smaller arrangements for cocktail, entry, buffet table, bar, etc.
- white and green
- wintery
- elegant and simple, since the venue was already heavily decorated for the holidays
- high end (which of course meant to me: no carnations, no crsynthamums, no babies breath)
The office powers that be liked the sparkly white branches we used last year, and wanted a similar but more natural vibe for this years arrangements.
The venue was absolutely beautiful, and the arrangements made it extra special.
I did something a little different this time and put a submersible LED at the bottom of each vase, which gently lit up all the water in the vase and provided subtle and striking ambiance when the room lights were dimmed.

Pre-dimming, but you can see a little light being thrown from the bottom of the vase.
